About the program
In such a rapidly changing time for Alzheimer’s research and care, we understand it can be extremely difficult to keep up with all the new developments. It is crucial however that those involved in the identification and care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease are proactively bridging their knowledge and confidence gaps so that patients are receiving the quickest diagnoses and best care possible.
We aim to help by distilling and contextualizing the key advances in 2024.
The program is intended for global (excluding UK) healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Including, but not limited to, neurologists, geriatricians, geriatric psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and physician associates.
All content will be available in the following languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, and simplified Chinese.
Learning objectives
After participating in this program you will be able to:
- Endorse the importance of a proactive and accurate diagnosis of early-stage AD
- Evaluate the rationale and utility of current and emerging biomarkers within the current diagnostic work-up
- Identify which patients would most benefit from amyloid-targeted therapy use through the analysis of the most current data
- Appraise the current understanding around risk factors, detection methods, and management approaches for ARIA
